Qing Long Quan is traditional a routine of the Pigua Quan series. There are two branches of the Pigua Quan in the middle of the Qing dynasty. One is developed into Quick routine Gua Quan, Pao hammer of Pigua Quan, which is represented by Guo Dafa, in Nan Pi country, the other is represented by Zuo Baomei, in Yanshan county, who developed into Slow routine, Qing Long Quan of Pigua Quan. The same characteristics of the two branches are hacking and parrying strongly. In 1927, during the preparation of the Central Martial Arts Museum, Guo Changsheng introduced the former there, and Ma Yingtu introduced the latter there. The two predecessors felt like old friends at their first meeting and conducted a study to combine two branches together. This routine is revised from the two martial arts which are taught at the Central Hall.
